Major General Salami says IRGC will not retreat against any enemy

Iran’s IRGC Chief, Major General Hossein Salami, has stated that Iran is fully prepared for any confrontation and will humiliate its enemies. He emphasized that Iran’s power has significantly increased and dismissed claims that the Resistance Front has weakened. Salami also warned that Israel and the US are facing political and military decline.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has declared that Iran is fully prepared for any scenario amid US threats of military action. He vowed that any confrontation with Iran would result in the total humiliation of its enemies.

Major General Hossein Salami made these remarks during a gathering in the southeastern city of Mashhad. He referred to threats from the US administration, which has suggested that Washington may resort to military action if ongoing negotiations to replace the 2015 nuclear deal fail.

Salami emphasized that Iran is closely monitoring its adversaries and understands their movements. He stated that despite ongoing political contacts and negotiations, Iran stands firm and resolute. "Whoever dares to engage with Islamic Iran will be shattered," he warned.

The general highlighted that Iran’s power has significantly increased over the past year, a fact well known to its enemies. He also noted that while Iran does not rely on the Resistance Front for defense, the Resistance Front will act decisively if faced with threats.

Rejecting claims that the Resistance Front has weakened due to Israeli attacks, Salami pointed to recent operations as evidence of its strength. He asserted that Gaza has grown stronger, Yemen is striking more effectively with missiles, and Hezbollah has regained its power.

Salami further commented on the state of Israel, describing it as "agitated and incensed" with no promising future. He claimed that Israel’s prime minister is regarded as a war criminal and fears arrest. Politically, Israel is collapsing, and even European nations are distancing themselves. Economically, he argued, Israel is disintegrating and would not survive without American assistance.

Referring to a recent Yemeni missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport, Salami questioned Israel’s ability to withstand a larger-scale assault. "Those who could not even withstand a single missile from Yemen’s Ansarullah, what will they do if they are faced with 600 missiles at once?" he asked.

General Salami added that US President Donald Trump only compounded these issues. He stated that the US is also in a state of disarray, with a decayed army and powerless leaders.

"America knows that war has not resolved any of its problems; it is facing a decayed and exhausted army, beleaguered and powerless political leaders, and an overwhelming array of crises and challenges," he said.

"The president of the United States initially came in like a bully to change the world, but now he is the one being changed and has failed in and retreated from all his plans," he remarked.

Finally, the general maintained that a change in the presidency does not alter the realities in America, nor does it reverse the overt and covert decline of America’s power.
